Anne & Friends at
Don't Tell Mama:
Nov.2008
Once again Anne sang to a packed house performing her gorgeous originals and many familiar standards.
She is quite the entertainer and keeps the humor high with her anecdotes.
"The Handyman" song was a source of much laughter.

Elle is a 6 year old singer-songwriter who lives in Manhattan and currently attends the Chapin School where she is in first grade. She started writing and recording original songs when she was only four years old. She studied early childhood music at the renowned Diller-Quaile School of Music and currently studies with performer/writer/teacher Anne Smith. Elle has performed as part of Ms. Smith's cabaret show at Don't Tell Mama on Broadway. Elle loves Miley Cyrus and Rihanna and wants to be the next Alicia Keyes.

What a Wonderful World as performed by Chloe:

Chloe is 9 years old and attends The Churchill School in New York City. Chloe loves to sing and enjoyed every minute of her study with Anne Smith! Chloe also enjoys ballet, gymnastics and travel.

"Chloe's recording of What A Wonderful World has a uniquely joyful, rollicking energy to it- Chloe had listened to several arrangements by other artists and commented that she would like to perform it in a more 'Rock & Roll style'. I chose this recording to feature on my site because it makes me happy every time I hear it, and reminds me of this wonderful girl whose positive and creative outlook shines through everything she does." -Anne Smith
